Teams must have a minimum of 2 males and 2 females on court to avoid a forfeit.  Additionally, they can use up to one more male and one more female - or 2 more females - to fill their court. 

OnCall players or one (1) borrowed player may be used to avoid a forfeit except during playoffs.   *PLEASE REVIEW LIMITATIONS FOR ONCALL AND BORROWED PLAYERS UNDER THE CONSTITUTION TO AVOID ILLEGAL PLAYER STATUS.  

If a team feels their opponent is using an illegal player they should approach the Referee during pre-game sign in. Photo ID may be requested to confirm player eligibility.  All 2025/2026 team rosters are visible under the TEAMS tab on the HHMVL homepage and the link to the OnCall player list is also on our homepage.

If the player is unregistered but is eligible to register for that team, they can complete the registration immediately, however they must show the referee that their name now appears on the roster before joining the game.   *ADDITIONS TO ROSTERS/ON CALL LIST CAN NOT BE COMPLETED AFTER DEC 31st OF THE SEASON.
